Reproductive Health Communication Strategy Implementation Guide
Publication Date:
04/19/2011 This implementation guide supports the rollout of Kenya’s National Reproductive Health (RH) Communication Strategy at district, regional and national levels. The guide prioritizes three key thematic areas: family planning; adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health; and maternal, neonatal, and child health. Its overall purpose is to ensure coordination of social and behavior change communication (SBCC) in RH programming and to assist implementing partners in Kenya in operationalizing the strategy. The guide seeks to build and sustain institutional and multisectoral support towards the achievement of the Government of Kenya’s RH goals, through advocacy, behavior change, and social mobilization.
A collaborative effort of partners and stakeholders and Kenya's Division of Reproductive Health of the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation, C-Change developed and produced the guide with support from USAID.
